First of four tournaments is this Sunday, 1/25

Welcome to the 2026 RMR Mountain Series! We can't wait to see you all compete this weekend. There are a few things that families need to be aware of for the season. You can find your schedules and results on TM2.
We will be playing at both CMU and Blackout Fieldhouse (yay!) and we cannot single-handedly enforce these rules and will need you and your coaches' help with making sure the rules are being followed.
ADMISSION-The RMR is now charging spectators a guest pass fee this season. This allows us to monitor who is in our gyms (player safety is the top priority). We also had nearly 50% of our facilities decline to host events this season due to spectator behavior and an unimaginable trash load after each tournament. This allows us to provide extra support to our facilities so the players of the RMR still have courts to play.
Guest passes are $10 (+cc processing fees) per person, and may be purchased online at TM2.
There are no cash or sales at the door, all guest passes must be purchased on TM2.
Passes will be made available online at 8am the Monday before each event, so that we don ’t suffer long lines “at the door.”
All passes include “all-venues, all-day, with in-and-out privileges” for a single person
Passes include a scannable code that you will get scanned at the entrance to the facility!
Guests 5 and under, as well as active players in uniform, working referees and all rostered coaches and directors, enter free
All guest passes are non-refundable
FOOD GUIDELINES
No food tables and no coolers are allowed inside any of the facilities.
Food tables can be set up outside, if so desired, and the weather should be relatively nice.
No food in the gyms or on the courts (including score tables)
If you are bringing in outside food, it must be packed in the athlete's backpack (i.e. a small lunchbox).
Concession stands will open at both facilities
PARKING GUIDELINES
CMU: (click here and scroll down to Colorado Mesa): The Parking Department has asked that we send out a parking map and locations to park. The big areas of concern are across 12th street at the Jimmy’s Hamburgers & Subway location. Please do NOT park there, that lot is intended for customers to those establishments only. If tournament-goers are parking there, they risk being towed at their expense. Another area of concern is any Residence Hall parking areas (Green signs), especially the “reserved” lots. Those are for students on campus only and others will be given a $75 citation.
CP9 would be the most ideal parking lot available. It is not that far of a walk and has the largest parking lot available. The parking garage at Brownson is also an option.
BLACKOUT: The facility has parking wrapping around the building, both paved and gravel. Do not park along the road or in the neighborhood.
CMU FACILITY RULES
There will be NO BALL HANDLING in hallways or common areas.
The FFH track and the Rec track will be closed and no spectators, coaches or players will be allowed on either track. Additionally, racquetball courts and climbing wall areas are OFF LIMITS.
Workout areas are OFF LIMITS. This is a zero tolerance policy and if players or siblings are found in the workout areas, they will be asked to leave the tournament.
Personal chairs are only allowed in the Rec Center and the Aux. No personal chairs are permitted in Brownson or in FFH.
IN THE AUX: Our older divisions are playing in the Aux. Therefore, we are STRICTLY enforcing the rule of no spectators along the bleachers next to the court. This is a safety issue and we want these teams to have as much playing space as possible. Chairs can be placed behind each end line ONLY.
BLACKOUT SPORTS FIELDHOUSE RULES
There will be NO BALL HANDLING in hallways or common areas.
No personal chairs - there are bleachers on every court and an upper level viewing area in between courts.
No coolers allowed in the facility and no food on the courts.
TEAM AREAS
For teams playing at CMU:
All 15s teams, please place your belongings in the Aux court area (along the walls, behind the far side of the court, or in the corners)
Teams playing in Foster Field House or the Rec Center, please place your belongings in the Foster Field House team area (Court 1).
14s teams playing in Brownson, we will give further guidance when we hear back from CMU.
For teams playing at Blackout Fieldhouse we will have designated places you can leave your belongings while your athletes are competing.
It takes us all to ensure that facility rules are being followed by our club families, so please help in enforcing these rules if you see your players or parents not following them. We want to ensure that CMU and Blackout want us to keep coming back. Thank you for all of your help with these items! Please reach out with any questions you may have.
Thank you for being part of the RMR and good luck to all teams this weekend! -The RMR
